That’s just what you think it is: reading the expressions on your face to figure out if you’re a terrorist. The best part is the explanation of what they’re looking for:
“TSA officials will not reveal specific behaviors identified by the program — called SPOT (Screening Passengers by Observation Technique) — that are considered indicators of possible terrorist intent. But a central task is to recognize microfacial expressions — a flash of feelings that in a fraction of a second reflects emotions such as fear, anger, surprise or contempt.”
I’m sorry, but if that’s what they’re looking for, those emotions while waiting at an airport security line, they’re going to get a lot of false positives.
